I have some cherry tomatoes growing in one, and it seems to be doing well. Just planted some squash in another. And with the 3rd, one of the holes/holders that holds the rods came broken, so I'm just using this pot for herbs and arugula.nonorthnosouthnoeastnowesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11694177290071225685noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255881587336767342.post-21233867784540994802011-04-01T09:57:20.307-04:002011-04-01T09:57:20.307-04:00Hi Mimi, the caging kit is what convinced me to gi...Hi Mimi, the caging kit is what convinced me to give it a try. To get both a container and a cage at this price got my attention.adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09886352800474264548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255881587336767342.post-67199080182732733992011-04-01T02:05:16.821-04:002011-04-01T02:05:16.821-04:00Oh, I like the new Self Watering Container. Off hand, I can't think of any commercial self watering container that can last more than one day without needing to be refilled. A DIY container from a tote with a very large water reservoir would be needed.adminhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09886352800474264548noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-255881587336767342.post-58162155230413041692011-03-31T10:14:07.552-04:002011-03-31T10:14:07.552-04:00Price is not bad but 2 gallons is not enough if yo...Price is not bad but 2 gallons is not enough if you're planning on indeterminate tomatoes unless you fill it daily during summer. Even the 3 gallon earthbox does not hold enough water for indeterminates.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09010958102549490197noreply@blogger.com
