Especially the tomato plants, they have really filled out.

To help prevent disease I've trimmed off the bottom branches of all the tomato plants. Leaves won't touch the soil or sit in a shallow pool of water.

Bucolic Bushwick Rooftop Vegetable Garden Peppers

The pepper plants look down right raggedy, but that's typical when growing on a rooftop so I'm not concerned.

Have a great weekend everyone, enjoy the holiday!

  1. Wonderful! Congrats on having everything done and out there. Love the wooden supports you've made for those peppers! Now we just need some heat....which I'm sure will come on soon along with 95% humidity. :)

  2. The heat and humidity are already here! While the warmth is good for the plants I would love several more weeks of balmy, low 70 degree weather. Oh well.
