We're Still Here!

October has been absolutely beautiful so far. I've only had to wear a jacket a once or twice since the beginning of the month. Daytime temps still touch the 70's and besides that one chilly weekend nighttime temps are in the 50's. Most of the plants are still on the roof and this year's harvest total is definitely on track to be my second best year ever.

Sunsugar F1 cherry tomato

Little Baby Flower F1 watermelon. The skin has noticeably dulled so it's time to harvest the last melon and prep the container for storage.

Orange Blaze F1 peppers

Beaverlodge tomato

Orient Express F1 eggplant noticeably battered but still with a few fruits hanging on. I put a soil filled container right next to the eggplant pot to help keep it warm overnight.

Bush Goliath F1 tomato.

Giant Aconcagua peppers. Foliage color is very pale, but there are still several fruits growing. I'll move the container next to the cherry tomato to give it more sun.

Pink Berkeley Tie-Dye tomato

I'm going to miss these colors when winter comes around.
