Vegetable Harvest Report 12 2010

Bucolic Bushwick November Vegetable Harvest

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Here's the last of the peppers for 2010.  I haven't even finished eating them and I miss them already.  I also harvested the last of the cherry tomatoes and the regular tomatoes, but they weren't worth consuming so I excluded them from the weigh-in and tossed them into the compost pile.  Now that the pepper and tomato plants have been removed from the garden the only thing left growing on the rooftop are the peas.

November 8-November 24:

Peas:  3.5 ounces

Sweet Pepper:  1 pound, 6.0 ounces

Weight Total:  1 pound, 9.5 ounces

Vegetable Harvest Total:  63 pounds,  8 ounces

  2. Wow! Those are real healthy peppers! I just harvested carrots and tomatoes, too. Good thing they're still worth consuming. Thanks for sharing this. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
