Sleepy Summer Days

One melon plant left on the roof. I'm not sure how much larger these fruits will get, the leaves are really worn out.

I'm just waiting for their skin to change color so I can remove the plant and grow something else.

Beet seeds behind the window screen fabric on the left. Soybean plants in the neighboring container.

Over 50 fruits on the Black cherry tomato plant. The Black cherry, Hakucho Hybrid melon and Giant Aconcagua pepper plants are by far the star performers in this year's garden.

Once the Flexum Hybrid peppers grow to full size I'm going to remove the plants and seed peas in the container.

The Pingtung Long eggplant is not as productive as varieties grown in previous years, but I'm ok with that. It's time for a break, no eggplants next year. Maybe I'll go back to cukes, or try something new.

So far no carrots seedlings have popped up. The packet says 7-21 days for germination so I'm not worried yet.
